TREATMENTS

A full range of treatments are available. Traps, chemical solutions and building proofing can be use ,sometimes a combination of all three. We offer advice to prevent re infestation. When you call you will speak to a pest professional not a call centre.

A RECENT TREATMENT IN USK

A customer recently experienced a problem with Squirrels. They gained access to the loft space by chewing through a soffit. See photo. Squirrels will often try to gain access to lofts for winter shelter.Once inside they will cause considerable damage. In this case they gained access by chewing  next to the wood burner flue. When inside they made a nest using the insulation. They soil the insulation and sometimes it has to be replaced. They like all rodents have incisors which are continually growing.Squirrels constantly gnaw to wear them down.In this case they chewed through several electrical cables. This caused the upstairs lights not to work.Furthermore this is a fire risk.

THE SOLUTION

Squirrels are territorial and an invasive species to the UK. When trapped the must be humanly dispatched. If a repair is made to the soffit they will try to gain access to the loft at another point. So in this case they were trapped and dispatched. The soffit has been repaired.
